Upper Mustang Trek



Upper Mustang is a old hidden buddhist Kingdom of Mustang which used to be a part of Tibetan empire. Upper Mustang Trek offers amazing trekking experience in remote Himalayan mountain region of Nepal which is highly influenced by tibetan culture & tradition. Upper Mustang is also known as the last forbidden kingdom as tourist weren't allowed to enter this region until 1990s. It also used to be important route for crossing the Himalayan between Tibet & Nepal. 

Usually, UpperMustang trek lasts for 16-17 days which is one of the fastes growing trek in Nepal. You first start off your trek with a drive to Pokhra from Kathmandu & fly to jomsom from there the next day. After completing your trek you'll fly back to Pokhara & end your trek with a drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Upper Mustang trek can be graded as the moderate trek where you'll have to walk maximun 6-7 hrs each day. During this trek you'll get to see the settlement that has remained unaffected by the modernization for centuries now. The treeless land, barren landscape & the hardships of people there is something that you won't get to see anywhere else.
