Mardi Himal trek , a hidden gem of Annapurna region is growing rapidly in recent days because of its amazing trail & mesmerizing Himalayan views during the whole trek. Mardi Himal trek is located in Annapurna region at the east of Annapurna Base camp. Also because the trek was only opened offically since 2011, the trail is not as much crowded as other popular treks in Annpurna region. It usually takes 7 days to complete this trek & the walking hours each day is around 4-5 hours. Mardi Himal trek is graded as moderate trek which can be completed bu anyone in good physical health. The trek starts off from the City of Lake Pokhara, a short drive to Phedi from Pokhara, trek to Pothana & few more days trek will lead us to Mardi Base Camp at an elevation of 4500m. The accommodation during the trek will be on the Local Lodges or tea houses. March to May & September to December is considered as the best season to trek to Mardi Himal.
